MarySHORT (neé Murgatroyd)(neé Murgatroyd) Mary, longstanding landlady of the Barley Mow Inn, Kirk Ireton, died peacefully in her bed after living with dementia for many years.

A celebration of her life will be held at the pub from 12.30 on Thursday 7 March. Those who knew her well are welcome to share their memories. Mary will be interred at Holy Trinity Church, Kirk Ireton at 2 pm. Tea will be available at the pub from 2.30 pm.

Donations in memory of Mary to Mind, Alzheimer's Research UK or Riding for the Disabled.
